The MCIC is UNSW enabled and community powered. One of the key enablers of the MCIC’s strategy is our Catalyst-in-Residence program, which provides opportunities for seasoned startups to work from our co-working space and engage in knowledge exchange programs and activities.

Are you looking for a co-working space to inspire you and your team, and give back to others, through structured programs and serendipitous collision with other creative and innovative minds and ventures? Our program is not about exchanging cash for space, it’s about exchanging knowledge for access, including co-design and co-creation of shared value.

Find a better way.

Apply to give our MCIC Catalyst-in-Residence program a go.

Happy Holidays and the Importance of Taking a Break

Studies show that there is a strong correlation between cultures that are innovative and cultures that are happy. It is also important to take time away from an always on, connected life. As we head out for the break, we hope you take time to enjoy meals with friends and family. We hope you find the opportunity to read a few books and relax on a beach. This is an important time of the year to reflect on your collaborations, projects and achievements, breathe deeply, and think about what changes you hope to make in the New Year.

The MCIC will observe the following hours over the break:

Last Maker Space Open Shop:
Wednesday December 14, 6-10PM

During January, the MCIC staff will be engaged in planning to deliver a very ambitious suite of programs and activities in 2017.

On February 1, 2017, we will once again start holding Maker Space Open Shops:
Mon – Fri, 6-10 PM
Saturdays, noon-5PM.

Please follow our Facebook page to stay up to date on our various programs and activities, including our opening times.

Happy New Year!
